Approval User Setup

Users who are authorized to approve the quote as well as the approval requester must be set up as an approval user.

Approval user settings are queried into the table User settings, but the data is displayed on a different form.

Fields needed to set up approval:

• User ID

  • All approval users must be entered, i.e. both requestors and approvers

  • The form draws from the table User Setup

• Email (E-mail)

  • It is the email of the user ID. The OC will send approval notifications as well as approval notifications to the user at this address

• Approval Administrator

  • The administrator has the right to unblock approval items (e.g. by delegating) as well as to delete approval items when they expire
