Approval User Setup

Users who are authorized to approve the quote, as well as the requester for approval, must be set up as an approval user.

Approval user settings are queried to the table User settings, but the data is displayed on a different form.

Fields needed to set up approvals:

• User ID

  • All approval users, i.e. both requestors and approvers, must be entered

  • The form draws from a table User Setup

• Email (E-mail)

  • This is the email of the user ID. The OC will send approval notifications as well as approval notifications to the user at this address

• Approval Administrator

  • The administrator has the right to unblock approval items (e.g. by delegating) as well as to delete approval items when they expire
