Interaction Template Setup

This is a table for setting up automatic recording of interactions that specifies interaction templates for documents and actions using this page. To open the Interaction Template Settings page, select the magnifying glass icon that opens the Tell Me feature, enter Interaction Template Settings, and then select the related link.

In each field in the table, the Interaction Template Code is selected from the list of interaction templates.

General Tab

Field:

• E-mails

  • The value in the field specifies the interaction template code that will be used when uploading emails as interaction to the Interaction Log Entries table.

• E-Mail Draft

  • The value in the field specifies the code of the interaction template that you want to use when recording the email design, as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Cover Sheets

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when uploading the cover page as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Outgoing calls (Outg. Calls)

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when outgoing phone calls are recorded, as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Meeting Invitation

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record meeting invitations as interactions in the Interaction Log Entries table.

Sales Tab (General)

Field:

• Invoices

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record sales invoices as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Credit Memos

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record sales credit memos as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Order Confirmations

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when uploading sales orders as interactions in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Quotes

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when you register sales quotes as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Blanket Orders

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when uploading a mass sales order as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Shipment Notes

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record sales packing slips as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Account Statuses (Statements)

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when recording sales statements as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Reminders

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when recording sales reminders as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Return Orders

  • The value in the field specifies the code of the interaction template that you want to use when you record a sales return as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Return Receipts

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when you upload the sales of the return receipt as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Finance Charge Memos

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when recording finance charge memos as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

Purchase Tab (General)

Field:

• Invoices

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when recording purchase invoices as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Credit Memos

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record purchase credit memos as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Orders

  • The value in the field specifies the interaction template code to use when recording purchase orders as interactions in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Quotes

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when you upload purchase inquiries as interactions to the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Blanket Orders

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when uploading the bulk purchase order as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Receipts

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record purchase receipts as interactions in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Return Shipments

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when you record purchase returns as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Return Order Confirmations

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record the purchase return order confirmation as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

Service Tab (General)

Field description:

• Service Order Create

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when recording the creation of service orders, as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Contracts (Service Contract)

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used to record service contracts as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Contract Quotes

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when creating a service agreement quotation as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.

• Quotes

  • The value in the field specifies the Interaction Template Code that will be used when creating the service quotation as an interaction in the Interaction Log Entries table.
