Business relations

This is a table in which a contact's business relationships with another entity (customer, vendor, bank, employee) are recorded.

Basic business relationships are created between entities automatically based on the creation of "Create as" functions from the contact card or directly when creating a contact from the wizard to create a partner. If we also create a customer, vendor, bank, employee from the contacts, they will be automatically assigned an account according to the fields in the Marketing Setup.

The user can search for contact business relations directly on the contact via the "Business relations" button or by searching and opening the entire table via the "Search" function, where they can find out how many contacts a specific business relation has been assigned.

The table is also used when creating campaigns and opportunities in the CRM module.

The table contains the following fields:

  • Code

    • When a user enters an account code, the code must be unique for each line

  • Description

    • User Description of the Business Relation

  • Number of Contacts

    • A calculated field that shows the number of contacts assigned to a given business activity

    •  Clicking on the field will display a list of contacts with that business activity

Contact Business Relation

A user list into which the user inserts the necessary business relationships with the contact they want to record. Business relations for customer, supplier, bank, employee are created automatically based on the relationship settings in the "Marketing Settings" table when creating from the wizard for creating a partner, or using the "Create as" function from the contact card. Each business relation of a given contact needs to be reconnected depending on whether the business relation is being created for a customer, supplier, bank, or employee.

If the user opens the list on the contact card with the "Accounts" button (only for the Company type), the list will open filtered to that contact number.
