In the Car Rental Settings table, the Allow Zero Tariff field is set to:

  • NO

    • it is not possible to register a reservation or issue a loan.

When the Registration button is launched, the system displays an error message that the Rate (day) field must not be zero or empty.

  • YES

    • The user enters the rate per day = 0 for the reservation, after launching the Register button, the system displays an information message that the reservation has been registered. 

If Rate (day)=0 is entered on the issued loan, the system does not create a document for 0 when invoicing, it just makes an entry in the Car Rental Billing table.

If the rate is changed to a higher value as 0, the system will make a record of the rate change in the Car Rental Teaching table, at the same time it will create an invoice if the rate has changed in the past.

At the end of the rental, the len system will charge additional fees.
