Pledge of Insurance

The list of pledges issued for all individual insurance contracts can be viewed from The Role of the Insurance Center via the option Individual Insurance / Pledge of Insurance

An overview of all pledges opens.

  • Warning

    • It is marked Yes if Date - To Deliver < as the current date and status is Not delivered

    • The default setting is No for pledges that have a Date - Deliver to > as current date

    • Date – Delivery to is calculated according to the settings - Framework Agreement Types – Period for Delivery of Pledge

The list of pledges can be filtered by:

  • Pledge Status

    • Undelivered

    • Ready to Control

    • Fail

    • Correct (OK)

    • Canceled

  • other fields in the Organizer, e.g. the dealer number (extracted from the leasing agreement).

The filtered overview can be exported to Excel, printed and possibly sent to the salesperson.

Pledge of Insurance Card Creating

Automatic Generation of Pledge of Insurance

The system creates an automatic registration of the insurance pledge card when an individual insurance contract is activated (by the system at the same time as the financing contract is activated or manually by changing the status to Active when creating an individual insurance contract on an active financing contract).

When activating an individual insurance contract, the system will create a pledge card if:

  • Framework Agreement Type

    • Insurance Type = Individual

    • Insurance Subtype = Related to Financing

  • Product Type – Property on the selected insurance product

Manual Evidence of Pledge of Insurance

The user can manually record the pledge on the individual insurance contract card by selecting from the list of insurance contracts after marking the contract or from the individual insurance contract card using the Process / Pledge of Insurance and selecting + On the displayed Pledge Of Insurance Card.

Pledge of Insurance Card

When a pledge is created automatically or manually, the basic fields from the leasing and insurance contracts are filled in.

General Tab

Fields required to track delivery and vinculation validity:

  • Status

    • After automatic enrollment or manual enrollment, the vindication has a status Undelivered

    • If the client delivers a document, the user changes the status to Ready for Control

  • Starting Date

    • The user enters the starting date of the pledge validity according to the delivered pledge of insurance

  • Signature Date

    • The user enters the date of signature according to the pledge of insurance supplied

  • Evidence Date

    • The user enters the current registration date

  • Date – To Deliver

    • Populates the system with data from the field Valid From (from the insurance contract card) + field value Pledge Delivery Period (from Framework Agreement Type).

    • It is used for reminders of undelivered vinculations.

Customer Tab

  • The fields on the tab are filled by the system from the financing contract for which the individual insurance contract is created

Object Tab

  • The fields on the tab are filled in by the system from the financed object for which the individual insurance contract is created.

Pledge ́s Fault Evidence

After checking the supplied document, the user can record the pledge errors using the Register Pledge Fault On the Pledge Of Insurance tab:

Field:

  • Fault Code

    • The user selects the error code. This is a user-defined error code list

  • Fault Corrected

    • If the client delivers a document with the error corrected, the user checks this box

  • Fault Correction Date

    • When the check box is selected Fault Corrected The system will add the current date

When a pledge fault is logged, the pledge status is changed to Error. The date of the fault is recorded in the pledge card when the first fault is recorded.

If the client has delivered a corrected pledge and the user marks the corrected errors, the system changes the pledge status to Ready for inspection.

If the pledge is OK, the user can change the status to OK and the process ends.

On the pledge card, there is a button with an overview of exceptions. Displays an overview of exception requests filtered to the customer, exception type – Pledge exception and subject parameters – category code, group, etc.
