The user enters the insurance company via the insurance company card and, if necessary, creates a new contact (if it does not exist) in the contact list list.

The Insurance Company overview is available via the role center – Insurance, or search through the magnifying glass.

The Insurance Company tab has two tabs: General and Calculation.

Insurance Company Card – General

Field:

  • Contact No. (Contact No.)

    • Here, the user selects a contact for the company – insurance company – from the address book

  • Individual (Individual)

    • The user ticks this box in the case of insurance companies with which There are no framework contracts, but the client has an individual insurance contract with this insurance company.

  • Active (Active)

    • Here, the user removes the check mark if they want the system not to offer the insurance company when creating offers and for new insurance contracts.

Insurance Company Card – Calculation

  • Pro Rata Calculation (Pro Rata Calculation)

    • The user selects the method of calculating the daily rate and the number of days "pro rata" for the given insurance company

  • Daily Rate Calculation (Daily Rate Calculation)

    • There may be a difference between the calculation of the daily rate and the number of days "pro rata" (incomplete period at the beginning) and the daily premium rate (e.g. in the case of extraordinary termination). Therefore, the user selects the settings for each option separately.

Calculation options:

  • Year 360 Month 30 (Year 360 Month 30)

    • The system divides the annual premium by 360 to create a daily value. The number of days calculates 30 days from a constant month length

  • Year 365 (Year 365)

    • The annual premium system divides by 365 to create a daily value. The number of days is calculated from the actual length of the month

  • Year 12 (Year 12)

    • The system divides the annual premium by 12 to create a monthly value. The daily value is calculated according to the current month. Since the system is based on the monthly value and this is the same for each month, the resulting daily rate is different than in the case of "Year 365" (the daily value for February will be higher than the daily value for January). The number of days is calculated from the actual length of the month

On the insurance contract card, the filter is Individual = NO and Active = YES.

On the individual insurance contract card, the filter Active = YES is set.

Insurance Company Card – MENU

  • Products (Products)

    • Displays an overview of products for the given insurance company.

  • Assessors (Assessors)

    • Records of the insurance company's adjusters and their contact details

  • Green Card Numbers (Green Card Numbers)

    • Import of a number sequence assigned by the insurance company

Products

The overview contains settings for all insurance products of the given insurance company.

The fields are described in the chapter Insurance Company Product.

Assessors

Field:

  • Insurance Company No. (Insurance Company No.)

    • The OC automatically pre-fills the insurance company from which the user opened the Loss Adjusters list

  • Code (Code)

    • This is where the user enters the insurance adjuster code

  • Description (Description)

    • The user enters the name and surname of the liquidator in the text

  • Email (E-mail)

    • In this field, the user can enter the e-mail address of the liquidator

  • Telephone number (Phone No.)

    • The field allows the user to register a telephone contact for the adjuster

  • Active (Active)

    • For active liquidators, the user must check this box. If the adjuster no longer works for the insurance company, the user removes the check mark

Green cards numbers

The table is filled by importing green card numbers based on an agreement with the insurance company. The system then records on which insurance contract the green card number was used.

Field:

  • Insurance Company No. (Insurance Company No.)

    • For which insurance company was the imported number series for green card numbers

  • Country/Region Code (Country/Region Code)

    • For which country was it imported

  • Green Card No. (Green Card No.)

    • Imported Green Card Number From Insurance Company

  • Used Date (Used Date)

    • Date of Use of Green Card Number on Insurance Contract

  • Created (Created By)

    • Who Used a Green Card Number on an Insurance Contract

  • Insurance Contract No. (Insurance Contract No.)

    • On which insurance contract is the number used?
