Insurance Claim Type

In the Types of Insurance Claim code list, the user defines the types of insured events and their related parameters, which determine the behavior of the system when creating and processing an insured event.

Field description:

  • Code (Code, 1)

    • Here, the user selects a unique code

  • Description (10)

    • Text specification of the type of insured event

  • Change Fin. Contract Status (20)

    • The check mark is entered by the user for the type where a change in the status of the financing contract is required as a result of an insured event (Change to the status "Processed")

  • Detailed Contract Status (25)

    • User selects the detailed contract status to which the status of the financing contract will be changed after the insured event

  • Contract Change Type (27)

    • The user selects the appropriate change code to change the contract status from the Contract Change Types report

  • Termination Code (30)

    • Selection from the user dial, Insurance termination. The termination code will be added to the insurance contract

  • Theft (Theft, 35)

    • This flag indicates that the type of insured event is a theft of the financed object

  • Total Damage (40)

    • This flag indicates that the given type of insured event is a total destruction of the financed object

Insurance Product And Status Relation

In the Insurance Product and Status Relations table, it is necessary to set for each insurance product in which detailed status the insurance should be terminated or a new insurance should be created. Setting field:

  • Terminate Insurance (100)

  • Create New Contracts Required (105)

  • New Contract Length (months) (110)

  • Property Framework Agreement No. (125)

  • Liability Framework Agreement No. (130)

Detailed Contract Statuses

In the table Detailed Contract Statuses The responsible user sets the behavior of the wizard when changing the contract, in case of a required change of the contract status for insurance claims, it is important to set the following fields:

  • Fill Termination Date (20)

  • Fill Real Termination Date (27).
