The Insurance tab and the Financing Product Insurance button are visible only if the financing product has not specified a Financing Product Type or if there is a flag on the Financing Product Type Use Simple Insurance = No, otherwise not (i.e. simple insurance cannot be used at the same time as the insurance module).

Field:

  • Allowed Insurance Framework Agreement Type

    • The field is of the filter type

    • The user selects framework agreement types if he wants to limit the types of framework agreements that the user can select in the calculation/contract when selecting this financing product.

    • If the field is left blank, then it means any type of framework agreement

When the Financing Product Insurance button is pressed, the system opens the Financing Product Insurance overview

Fields in the overview:

  • Insurance Company No.

    • The user selects the insurance company if they want it to be pre-filled in the calculation.

  • Insurance Product No.

    • The user selects the product of the given insurance company if he wants it to be pre-filled in the calculation

  • Ins. Product Variant Code

    • The user selects the variant code of the insurance product if they want it to be filled in before it is filled in the calculation.

  • Framework Agreement No.

      • Supplementary

      • Other

    • Default = Empty

    • The field is editable only if all fields are empty, except for the Insurance Contract Check (40) field

    • After entering a value in this field, all fields are non-editable except Insurance Contracts Existence Check

    • This control definition can be used when it is required to check the existence of insurance contracts only according to the type of insurance product (e.g. that there is a property insurance contract for the financing contract)

    • WARNING: During the check, the system does not differentiate between the type of insurance of the given insurance contract, i.e. whether it is a collective contract (premium in instalments) or individual insurance

  • Insurance Contracts Existence Check

    • This setting determines whether the system will use wizard when creating insurance contracts other than third-party liability Create Insurance Contractscheck the existence of insurance contracts in and upon activation of the contract (checks the existence of at least one such insurance contract in the Preparation status for each financed object). In the case of a third-party liability insurance contract, this check will be performed only if the subject of financing is Third-party liability =Yes Otherwise, no:

      • Isn't

        • With this setting, the system will not check the existence of the insurance contract even in the wizard Create Insurance Contracts even when the contract is activated.

      • Confirmation

        • With this setting, the system will check the existence of at least one insurance contract for each financed object. If in the wizard Create Insurance Contracts If a contract is not selected, then the system will only display a query and it is possible to continue without selecting insurance contracts. Also, if it finds an object without the insurance contract when the contract is activated, then the system will only display a query and it is possible to continue.

        • With this setting, the system automatically sets the value of the Required=A field in the given insurance contract when the wizard creates insurance contracts.

        • With this setting, the system will require the existence of at least one insurance contract for each financed object. If in the wizard Create Insurance Contracts If such an insurance contract is selected, then the system will not complete this wizard. Also, if it finds an item without such an insurance contract when activating the contract, then it will end up with an error.

        • The obligation to take out insurance applies to the fields that have been filled in. For example, if the obligation should apply only to the product, it is necessary to enter only the value of the product in the line and set the flag mandatory. The user will be able to choose the other parameters himself when creating insurance contracts.

    • Default

      • Informative value only. The user can mark the insurance contracts that he wants to use as default in the calculation

    • Pre-Insurance

      • Flag that specifies that the defined insurance is used to create a pre-insurance policy, i.e. the insurance contract will be concluded for the period from the registration of the vehicle to the takeover of the vehicle by the client. The wizard for creating a pre-insurance policy searches for a record with the flag Pre-Insurance = YES and automatically creates an insurance contract with predefined parameters

        • Default value = No, user changes manually

        • Only one record can have a value of "Yes".

Insurance Package

A user can add an insurance package to the Insurance of a financing product using the Insert Package function

After pressing the button, the system presents the user with a window in which the existing insurance packages are offered and the user selects the one that requires financing to be added to the product:

image-20240605-143213.png

After selecting the insurance package, the user presses the "OK" button and the system then adds all the insurance policies (rows) defined by the insurance package to the financing product

Delete Insurance

The user can delete the insurance using the Remove. The user selects the row they want to delete and confirms the function by clicking on the button next to the record or directly from the action bar.

If there is a blank value for the Package No. field on the line to be deleted, then the system deletes the one row that is just requested. If the value of the Package No. field is non-empty, then the system deletes all rows with the same value of the Package No. field.

Multi Calculation Tab

The tab is visible only for Financing Product Type with Contract with Services=Y

    • This is achieved by not automatically posting the entry fee to the contract with the product by the activation wizard.

  • Don ́t Allow Invoice Posting in Activation

    • Default No

    • If the financing product is with Financing Type = Instalment Sale for Migrated Contracts, the value needs to be switched to Yes.

    • This is achieved by the fact that the Contract Activation Wizard does not automatically post an installment sales invoice on the contract with the product.

Financing Product Services

It is possible to mark them as default (it is then possible to create them with one button) or even mandatory (when they are removed, the system displays a message that approval may be needed).

Services that are not defined in the subform are considered forbidden in the calculation and the user does not have the option to select them in the calculation.
